Afrophilia: Beloved | Frantz Brent-Harris

BAND will be presenting the work of 3 artists, showcasing one-of-a-kind site specific exhibits over the coming year to reimagine the corner of Adelaide and Charlotte Street in partnership with LiUNA and Fengate Asset Management.

Pegged for future mixed-use redevelopment, this partnership is an opportunity to activate the site at 355 Adelaide with three public art exhibitions running February 2024 to December 2024.

Frantz Brent-Harris’ Installation Afrophilia: Be-loved is set to be unveiled on Thursday, February 15th!

19 Brock Renovations | Brick by Brick

With the support of Canada Cultural Spaces Fund and the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative and Scotiabank we are planning to maximize the footprint of 19 Brock Ave. from the basement to the attic. The project involves retrofitting the old building to reconfigure the exhibition spaces allowing for more accessible gallery space, multipurpose community spaces, and to create artists' studio and workshop spaces.

The current design concepts are being developed in partnership with project architect Dami Akinbode from Diamond Schmitt.
