TORONTO DESIGN OFFSITE FESTIVAL BY OCAD UNIVERSITY

A feature of the Toronto Design Offsite Festival by OCAD University students, the Hacking Black Futures exhibition uses design speculation, and immersive installation to transform the BAND19 house into a future home existing in a Black-centric society devoid of discrimination and systemic racism. Through the collaboration of an intergenerational team of Black  designers, artists, photographers and makers, this exhibition investigates  ideas  about the future with a focus on Blackness and Black-affiliated places and spaces.
